FAQs
Do parents sit with their children?
No, parents do not sit in this class with their children. We are working to promote independence in our guitar students, as well as develop a strong teacher-student bond, both of which are more effective when the parent is not in the room.
My child has autism, can they join the class?
We teach a lot of kids with autism, and guitar is such a great instrument for them to learn. For this class, the key component would be how students learn in a group setting. Do they follow directions well? Can they work independently? Can they focus for longer periods of time?
How many kids are in a class?
We like to have between 4-8 kids in each class.
What if I need to miss a class?
You are paying for the entire semester (24 weeks, one month at a time) regardless of if you attend class or not. If you do need to miss a class, you can simply contact our office and see if there’s space in one of our other class times that week.
What do I need to bring to class?
You’ll receive all your class materials on the first day of your class, which will include your binder with lesson materials, and tote bag. Bring these materials to every class.
Do you offer a sibling discount?
No, we do not offer a sibling discount for this class.
