FAQs
Do parents sit with their children?
Parents typically do not sit with their child for this class. Some parents like to watch the class so they know how to help their child practice at home.
My child has autism, can they join the class?
We teach a lot of kids with autism, and piano is such a great instrument for them to learn. For this class, the key component would be how students learn in a group setting. Do they follow directions well? Can they sit at the piano for 10 minutes at a time? We do switch activities frequently in this class, so for the students who have a hard time sitting still, it shouldn’t be an issue.
How many kids are in a class?
We like to have between 4-6 kids in each class.
What if I need to miss a class?
You are paying for the entire quarter (12 weeks, one month at a time) regardless of if you attend class or not. If we have an open spot in another class time, you’re able to attend a make-up class.
What do I need to bring to class?
You’ll receive all your class materials on the first day of your class, which will include your books and tote bag.. Bring these materials to every class.
