FAQs
My Child has never taken a music class before…is this class appropriate?
If your child is under the age of 8, we recommend starting with Ukulele lessons before guitar, as ukulele is easy to learn, and gentle on the fingers. If your child is 8 years of age or older, they can thrive in guitar class through dedication and practice. If your child is looking for an easier instrument to learn, try ukulele class first.
Do you offer trial classes?
We don’t offer trial classes, and here’s why: Music lessons are a commitment that brings lasting rewards for your child—and your family. There will be moments of excitement, but also challenges along the way. And that’s where the true growth happens. By committing to lessons, you’re not just signing up for classes—you’re showing your child the value of perseverance, creativity, and the joy of learning something new. Is Group Guitar the right fit for my neurodivergent child?
Group Guitar is a small group class with a maximum of six students. It’s a great option for children who can focus and follow directions in a group setting, can sit and concentrate for the full hour class, and can work independently for short periods of time. If your child needs a lot of redirection to stay on task, or is easily distracted in a group setting, they would benefit more from an individual ukulele lesson, where instruction can be tailored to their unique learning needs.

Do you offer guitar lessons for adults?
Absolutely! We love seeing adults either start an instrument for the first time, or pick up where they left off when they had lessons as a kid. Adults can take individual lessons on guitar, ukulele, piano, voice, and violin. Individual adult lessons are weekly classes, either 45-minutes ($223/month), or 60-minutes ($295/month).
In our Group Guitar class for ages 8-16, your child will dive right into playing, learning to strum chords from day one.
They’ll explore music theory in a way that’s fun and easy to understand, all while enjoying engaging lessons led by caring teachers who support your child’s progress every step of the way. Whether you’re a beginner or just looking to improve, this class makes learning guitar simple and exciting!
